The Lauri Ann West Community Center offers a number of classes that are scheduled for the end of the school day. Both arts/culture and sports classes are available. Please read below for information on bussing and policies governing the Center’s classes.
Does your student need extended care either before or after their Lauri Ann West Community Center program? Don’t worry – we can help. Simply choose the Extended Care option when you register and we’ll provide supervision for homework, reading, and other quiet activities, either before their 5 PM class or after their 4 PM class. And, with Extended Care they can even take the bus from their school – you’ll just need to pick them up by 6. Cost for Extended Care is just and additional $90 per program.
Take the BUS to the Ceter
A school bus from Dorseyville Middle and all FCASD Elementary Schools is available for 4:00 PM classes that indicate bussing is available. Parents and caregivers provide the ride home.
All online registrations include a service fee. For your convenience, we accept VISA and Mastercard. Registration is also accepted in person in the office where you may pay with cash, check, credit or debit card. Each program session is considered a new class and requires separate registration. Please remember that you are not automatically registered into additional sessions until registration is complete, including payment. Prices listed are per session
Please register early! A decision to run or cancel is dependent on having a sufficient number of participants registered at least one week prior to the start of the class. Waiting until the last minute to register may result in a class, camp or program being cancelled. Please register early or you may miss out on something you or your children really wanted to take.
Continue to check the Lauri Ann West Community Center website and stop in as we continue to add classes, camps and programs throughout the year!
