|Update: March 20, 2020|
In light of the continued spread of Covid-19 and Governor Tom Wolf issuing a sweeping shutdown order to tens of thousands of “non life-sustaining” businesses yesterday, it has become clear that the Lauri Ann West Community Center will continue to suspend all operations for the immediate future until authorized to re-open.
We will be placing all memberships on hold effective April 1st and will not draft anyone’s accounts until we re-open. Unfortunately, We will continue to incur many operational expenses related to our business including equipment leases, insurance, interest expense, building utilities, facility maintenance, and employee expenses. Since we will not be taking in any revenues to cover our continued expenses during this period, we would be grateful for any donations that our membership can make to help sustain us through our shutdown. If you are willing and able to donate, please click here.
If you have any immediate questions, we have set up a dedicated email inbox for your inquiries at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please bear with us as we prepare our workforce to support our membership and run our business operations remotely. We will continue to keep you informed via email, our website, and social media as events warrant.
Tony Allison, Interim Executive Director
