Digital Photography Pittsburgh Filmmakers

with Erin Bechtold

In our modern era defined by smartphone camera technology and instantaneous results, digital photography remains an art and a science. This course will instruct on what makes for a good photograph and how to create one. Through the process of taking and editing their own photos, students will learn crucial aspects of the craft, such as shot composition, light manipulation and building a body of work. (This program is brought to you by a generous grant to Lauri Ann West for STEAM education.) Bussing from all FCASD Elementary Schools and Dorseyville Middle School is available for this class. Parents and caregivers provide the ride home.
