With academic and so many activities and options consuming kids’ time these days, it can be overwhelming for young minds and bodies. Karate is the centuries old martial art that builds mind, body, and spirit in a way that will support them for the rest of their lives. Peacefulness and concentration, muscle and strength development, ki and self-defense are just some of the benefits of Karate. Mumon Karate is Shotokan-style Karate from the lineage of Master Funakoshi and Waseda University. Teaching in Pittsburgh since 1962. Club Director: Dr. Mark Weingarden, Sandan.

Bussing from all FCASD Elementary Schools and Dorseyville is available for this class for a nominal fee. Parents and caregivers provide the ride home.
