Sue Golier Memorial Speaker Series: Loretta Claiborne

Don’t miss this very memorable event when Loretta Claiborne will share her inspiring story of how hard work and determination can make anything possible. Born with physical and intellectual challenges, Loretta went on to run 26 marathons and twice placed in the top 100 women finishers. In 1996, she received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, and is currently the Chief Inspiration Officer for the Special Olympics. Her remarkable story is not one to miss!
Special guest speaker, Dan McCoy, 2014 Paralympic gold medalist in sled hockey will also present followed by special panel discussion with families that are involved in the Fox Chapel Unified Sports Program. The event will end with a game of Unified Flag Football in our gymnasium.
Doors open at 11:30am, talk begins at 12pm.
