Matt Hooper

A life-long athletics enthusiast and involved in multiple sports during my youth, I developed a keen interest in the field of strength and conditioning training to maximize the athletic potential of any and every individual.

Before receiving a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, I was awarded a year-long student assistantship by the National Strength and Conditioning Association to work with the strength and conditioning staff at the United States Air Force Academy.  During my time there, I was exposed to some of the most advanced and cutting-edge training techniques in the country.  In addition to gaining valuable instruction from the world-class staff, I had the responsibility of designing and overseeing the year-round training program for the Women’s Gymnastics team while assisting with all other sports teams including football, basketball, baseball, track and field, soccer, water polo, tennis, volleyball, and hockey.

In addition to more than 12 years of professional one-on-one and team training experience, I hold widely recognized certifications from CrossFit, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Combining advanced technical knowledge and elite-level training experience with a down to earth relational style of training, I provide a professional training environment that will achieve any personal goal my clients choose to set.

I have been married to my wife, Amy, for 9 years and we have a full house with our four daughters Grace, Sophie, Abby, and Rose.  I love to spend time with my family, am an avid reader, and enjoy learning about, teaching, and practicing CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting.
