Sam McClelland, Fitness Coordinator
Sam graduated from Pitt with a degree in Psychology. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist. One of Sam’s main goals as a trainer is to help others find what they love to do so that fitness is something they look forward to. She finds the positive relationship she gets to build with her clients and the privilege of getting to be part of their journey to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her job. As our Fitness Coordinator, Sam organizes our Group Exercise classes and personal training sessions.
Dante graduated in April 2016 from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Exercise Science and attained his ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification shortly after. He believes clients will gain knowledge of the importance and benefits of physical activity. Whether it’s improving in a specific sport or improving everyday living, he looks forward to helping his clients will reach their goals and have a great time doing it.
Theresa Wright has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor in Pittsburgh for 11 years. Her passion for health and fitness started while playing volleyball in college at Mississippi State University. Theresa‘s clients are the reason she is always striving to develop fun, motivating and effective workouts that are safe and functional at an individual level, as well as for group classes. Her training and experience over the years has helped Theresa to grow and develop as a trainer/ instructor and give her clients the best possible workouts that fit their needs and abilities. Hard work, consistency and fun are keys to success.
Caylene Graduated from Seton Hill in 2017, earning a BS in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health and Fitness. She specializes in weight loss/metabolic training, resistance training and sport specific training. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine, and is certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED with the American Red Cross. Caylene believes that being healthy involves your mind, body and spirit. She enjoys helping people realize that health and fitness is so much more than just coming to the gym. Caylene says that exercise should be a celebration of what your body can do and accomplish, not a punishment for what you ate.
Greg has a background in Sports Performance Training, Personal Fitness Training, Group Fitness Instruction and Martial Arts Instruction. He is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer and is a specialist in Strength and Conditioning. Greg has learned and developed a wide array of exercise techniques which can help people improve general fitness and achieve specific goals. Not only are many of these techniques helpful for athletes wanting to achieve optimal performance, most can help any individual improve strength, endurance, mobility and cardio vascular health. Greg’s favorite thing is watching people who HAVE to exercise transform into people who WANT to exercise.
Jess graduated from Carlow University with a Bachelors in Business Management. After gaining more weight than planned during her second pregnancy she tried a Spin class and her outlook on weight loss changed. A year of Spinning and training got her back to her pre-pregnancy weight and inspired her to help others achieve the same success. She has been a certified Spin instructor since 2017 (teaching at LAWCC since January 2018) and recently earned her training certification. Jess has a NASM Personal Trainer Certification.
