Little Med School: Healthy Heart – October 3, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

This entertaining session teaches kids about the heart through role-play and hands-on activities. We’ll get the kids moving and then teach them to check their pulses! Future doctors will also learn to use a stethoscope and then take it home to practice on family members.

Little Med School: Lung Power – October 10, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Learning about the lungs can be fun! We use a ball game to teach children about the flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide in and out of the lungs. Kids will learn about lung capacity by blowing up balloons!

Little Med School: Amazing Brain – October 17, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

The human brain is truly amazing. Kids will create a human brain using Model Magic. We also assemble Thinking Caps to learn about parts of the brain.

Little Med School: Gross Anatomy – October 24, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Some bodily functions are gross! In this fun and interactive class, kids will create and learn about mucus, use first aid to stop bleeding, and discover the anatomy of a belch!
