New instructor, new class!
We’re excited to share that we have a new Essentrics instructor starting soon – Charlie Gray! You may recognize Charlie from our welcome desk, where he’s been greeting members for the last two years. Now he is working on becoming a certified Essentrics instructor! Starting next Tuesday, November 3 Charlie will be offering his own class as he works to earn the hours he needs to become fully certified:
Tuesdays from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Dance Fitness Studio (8 slots available)
Another pop-up class added
Our regular Essentrics instructor, Carolyn, is offering an additional pop-up class tomorrow, October 27 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Reserve your spot in Mindbody!
Is your family is in need of care when students return to school full time on November 5?
Our Arts & Enrichment After School Program still has limited spots available!
The program will be offered five days a week starting November 5. Capacity will be limited. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact Jason Fate as soon as possible. Any available spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to families who are enrolling in 4 or 5 days of after school care.
This is a two hour program for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. We offer a unique combination of a relaxed atmosphere and enriching activities that are sure to inspire and complement individual interests.

From the Fox Chapel Area High School Counseling Department:
This week’s practice is from Nedra Glover Tawwab and focuses on letting go of things that are unhelpful, unhealthy or do not bring happiness. Whenever you are feeling overwhelmed or upset, use the following three step practice to process your feelings.
Feel your feelings without trying to avoid them. Cry. Be angry. Allow yourself to be sad. It’s all part of the process.
Reconfigure who you are. How has the experience or relationship changed you?
Forgive yourself by acknowledging your humanness. You are not perfect. Making mistakes is part of the learning process. Don’t beat yourself up for what you allowed.
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” – Eckhart Tolle
We know that there is so much happening in everyone’s lives right now. It’s a hectic time and it often feels hard to know which end is up. Through all that has happened this year, one thing remains the same. The Center has always been, and will continue to be, dedicated to uniting and inspiring our community. Your membership and support makes that commitment possible. Thank you! As always, be safe, be well, and take care of each other.
