RaizArts: Introduction to Character and Comic Book Design

RaiZArts is a local anime artist who has worked all over the country creating artwork for notable individuals and organizations! These include: CurtRichy (Crunchyroll), RDCWorld (YouTube), Leonard Robinson (Insecure, Wild N’ Out), and even the Mayweather Boxing Gym, here in Pittsburgh’s very own Strip District!! He works with many local organizations as well, and we’re excited to have him teach the students of the Lauri Ann West Community Center THIS FALL!!

RaiZArts is inspired by the works of Hiromu Arakawa (FullMetal Alchemist) and the combined works of Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima (Sonic the Hedgehog). He also is inspired by the works of Tetsuya Nomoura and the designs that he has created for the Kingdom Hearts franchise most notably. His style is a combination of Sonic, Kingdom Hearts and FullMetal Alchemist and he takes pride in creating something new from these iconic styles of artwork.
