When the Center is closed, either completely or for part of the day, we will post a message on KDKA, our website, www.lauriannwestcc.org, and our main phone line 412 828 8566
Sometimes the Center is open, but individual classes may be canceled. It is always best to call or check the website about one hour prior to class start time.
If you have rented a room or the gym, and you cancel your event, please contact us on the main line 412 828 8566 x 101 and contact your attendees to inform them that you have canceled.
Arts and Enrichment Program:
The Arts and Enrichment Program (4pm-6pm) after school hours for Care will be canceled when the Fox Chapel School District closes for the day when they had a full day of school scheduled on their calendar. We will make every effort to offer a Full Day Care option for parents in need. Please call or email firstname.lastname@example.org day of to find out if this option is available. Full day care is $80 for the day (8:45am-6pm) or $50 for the day if you drop off at 1pm. (1pm-6pm)
If Fox Chapel closes for the day, and they had been scheduled as a half-day, we will accept the children at 1:00 p.m., as long as roads are not dangerous for staff and instructors to get here. Please call or check the website.
Parents are requested to pick up their children as soon as possible if roads appear or are forecasted to be dangerous.
Please be advised that a power outage or other situation may warrant the closing of the Center. While it is our goal to serve the community, safety of our customers and staff is our number one concern.
