The Lauri Ann West Community Center was thrilled to see today’s announcement from Governor Wolf that allows gyms and fitness centers to reopen next week as planned.

On behalf of our staff and Board of Directors, thank you for your loyalty and support over the last few weeks. We are excited to share that, based on today’s announcement, the Lauri Ann West Community Center will reopen on Monday, January 4 at 8:00am.

Because we were closed for 23 days (December 12 – January 3), January membership fees will be drafted on Wednesday, January 6 in the following prorated amounts:

  • $18 for Family Fitness Members
  • $12 for Individual Members
  • $9 for Senior Members
  • $8 for Youth Members

In-person group ex classes will resume on Monday, January 4. Most classes have a virtual option and will continue to be available for members at no additional charge.

Your health and safety remains our top priority as we welcome you back to the Center. We will continue to require masks at all times, enforce social distancing, and sanitize the Center throughout the day. We will also continue to ask members not to visit the Center if any of these symptoms or questions apply to you. For more information, please visit the dedicated page on our website that details all of our health and safety protocols.

Please know how thankful we are for your membership. These are challenging times, but with your support, we know that we will one day be even stronger than we were before. We cannot wait to welcome you back to the Community Center next week. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to email us at questions@lauriannwestcc.org or call us at 412-828-8566.

Sincerely,
Anthony R. Allison
