Summer Camps 2026 – School-Age Specialty Camps

School-Age Specialty Camps
More information coming soon! These are camps run by outside organizations, such as Pittsburgh Ballet Theater or Soccer Shots. They are typically one week long and run for 1-4 hours each day.
Back by popular demand – BigFoot Camp! Can you find Bigfoot? Or a Sasquatch? What about a Yeti? Join us on walks around Lauri Ann West’s grounds in search of these creatures. We’ll learn about different cultures and the lore of these creatures through stories and crafts.
This is an afternoon-only camp, running from 1:00-4:00pm.
Designed for children ages 5-8, this camp blends fun and focused instruction in a recreational basketball setting.
Players will learn and reinforce the important skills necessary to building a solid all-around foundation, including: shooting mechanics, ball-handling, footwork, and defensive techniques. They will work on teamwork (working/playing with others), attitude, kindness, and hard work, all helping them become better players and people outside of basketball. This camp runs from 2:00-3:00pm
In our School-Age summer camp, children will learn the fundamentals of tennis using a wide variety of fun and age-appropriate drills as well as game play. Our experienced coaches use a variety of innovative techniques and drills to help children develop the skills they need to succeed in tennis and in life, including all grips, ball control, stroke techniques, practice habits, and court etiquette.
Please feel free to bring your own racquet or to borrow one from the instructor. This camp runs from 2:00-3:00pm.
