Great communities are built by great people. Last night, we celebrated those who imagined something better, those who laid the foundation, and those who helped it mature. Lauri Ann West Community Center`s success as a neighborhood asset is a testament to the commitment and labor of love poured in by the former and current Board of Directors.
As we mark 10 years, we honor the partners who believe in our mission to build connections, expand horizons, and impact lives by providing a safe place for all to learn, play, and grow.

Last week, nearly 100 lively pickleball players at Lauri Ann West Community Center gathered at the River`s Edge Club House in Oakmont for their annual holiday party. The talented Jeff Pepper tickled the ivories to lead a fun sing-along. Pickleball enthusiast Dan Gartland shared, "Lauri Ann West Community Center builds connections - for us, pickleball is the vehicle that makes it happen."

Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by @janesherrmann Realtor, featuring music by the @foxchapelmusicdepartment FCHS orchestra and breakfast by @everydaygourmetcafelawcc delighted guests of all ages. It was a magical morning filled with music, laughter, joy, and the spirit of the season. Thanks to all who helped with the event, including the guests who arrived early and willingly lent a hand! We love sharing this special time with our guests.
Not everyone sees the early alarms, the cold, dark mornings, or the hours put in before school. But we do. And we’re celebrating the young warriors who train in the dark to shine in the light.
