Do you know everything about Dan McCoy, Personal Trainer?
Many of you may know or have seen Dan McCoy, a personal trainer at the Lauri Ann West Community Center. Dan`s dedication to physical fitness runs deep in his soul.
From a young age, Dan`s competitive spirit and drive to stay active drew him to hockey. Born with spina bifida, Dan found an exciting, challenging outlet for his energy and ambition by joining a local sled hockey team.
That team eventually led him to the 2014 Winter Paralympics, where Dan represented the USA and won Gold at the Sochi Games.
Dan continues to push himself physically. This year, his determination and hard work paid off when he finished 3rd in the handcycle division at the Pittsburgh Marathon, proving that his passion for fitness remains as strong as ever.

Jon Delano - KDKA Political Analyst and recently retired Money and Politics Editor
Emily Holmes - Senior State Program Officer, Common Ground USA, and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for North Strabane Township
