Are you looking for a rewarding summer experience where you can make a difference?
Become a volunteer counselor-in-training (CIT) with Lauri Ann West Community Center’s summer camp program.
13-18-year-olds looking to inspire and make meaningful connections with youth attending summer camp, we have an opportunity for you! While earning volunteer hours for HS graduation or NHS requirements, you can search for mythological creatures, solve mysteries, blast off into space, help design a miniature golf course, and so much more.
June 15- August 14
Shifts are 8:45 am - 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm M-F

Joe Krajcovic is our May Member of the Month! Joe enjoys coming here for boxing training. You might see him in the fitness center doing some high-intensity workouts and core training.

As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, the Lauri Ann West Community Center is stronger than ever. What started as a hopeful idea has grown into a vibrant community hub and true neighborhood asset – now supporting more than 4,000 active fitness members, a state-certified after-school program in high demand, and a welcoming gathering place with more than 130,000 visitors each year. Thanks to strong community support and careful planning, we are financially stable and able to maintain our facilities that bring people together for activity, learning, and connections.
With our search for a new Executive Director underway, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. Our dedicated and highly skilled team remains fully committed to serving our community and guiding the next decade of growth and community impact. Together, we will continue to build connections, expand horizons, and impact lives by providing a safe place for all to learn, play, and grow.
