Thank you for Celebrating the Center with us!

We want to thank everyone who contributed to Celebrate the Center in 2025.  Your enthusiasm and generosity were the driving forces behind making the event truly memorable.  Together, we raised an incredible $94,950 to support the children we serve at Lauri Ann West Community Center.  Every sponsor, volunteer, friend, and staff member  played a vital role in this success and we are so grateful for your support. Thank you for being an essential part of our community and for helping us make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve!

The funds raised by CTC are essential to help cover the expanding costs of our growing programs – especially our summer camps and after-school programs for children in our community.  Due to so many workplace transformations, more families need a safe place for their children to go after school. This school year, the demand for our programming has increased, and we made accommodations to include as many children as possible. Families appreciate that our programs offer active and engaging experiences. With a STEAM-based curriculum – focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math – students can explore their interests while utilizing specialized equipment such as 3D printers, a chomp saw, and a laser cutter. Additionally, our facilities include a gymnasium, playground, and all-weather gaga pit, which provide ample opportunities for physical activity each day. And the need for financial scholarship to attend programs is growing, too.
