Summer Camps 2026 – 8-12 Year Old

8 to 12 Year-Old Camps
These full-day themed summer camps feature a mixture of STEAM discovery, games in our gymnasium, and outdoor playtime in the sunshine. Your child will never be bored with new adventures each day and new themes each week! Our goal is to provide a safe environment for your child to make memories, meet new friends, and explore their unique talents and interests.
Our camps have 12 students per room. This smaller staff-to-camper ratio provides opportunities for one-on-one teaching and promotes better safety and the overall well-being of our campers. We do our best to group like ages of students together in the classrooms.

Become an inventor! Toy Makers Lab is a hands-on summer camp where campers become inventors, designers, and creators. Throughout the week, children will design and build their own toys that roll, spin, pop, slide, and fly, using simple materials and lots of imagination.
Each day focuses on a different type of motion, giving campers the opportunity to explore basic engineering concepts through creative play, problem-solving, and experimentation.
The week ends with a Toy Maker Showcase, where campers proudly share their moving creations.
Let your imagination flow! Action and adventure await as campers explore the fantastical tales of myths and legends from around the world. Through magical transformation and storytelling, campers will explore, design, and create—bringing their own mythical characters and creatures to life.
Legends are full of amazing tools and magical objects! Campers can choose to create their own “trick tools” inspired by Odysseus, or try their hand at crafting a bow like Artemis or a club like Hercules. For those who love storytelling, there’s the chance to work at the Mythical News Network, producing a fun news segment reporting on the sighting of a mythical creature.
Friday is scavenger hunt day—explore the Center and uncover hidden treasures!
Are you clever, quick-thinking, and resourceful? Then join our team of Junior Operatives —super sleuths ready for any mission! Campers will train in stealth, espionage games, and code-breaking, all while creating the tools and gadgets they’ll need to complete their top-secret missions. Every agent needs the right gear—will yours be clever enough? Get ready for a week of mystery, adventure, and spy skills!
Friday’s special will involve a Secret Mission.
Police dog item search. Big Mystery game.
Some people watch the Olympics just for the sports—but we think the real fun is exploring the languages, cultures, and behind-the-scenes magic that make the Games possible! Our adventure kicks off with each camper creating a Passport to Adventure, their official ticket to exploring the world. In groups, campers will choose to represent a real country or invent an entirely new one. They’ll design bold team flags, learn words from new languages, and dive into exciting cultural traditions from around the globe.
Each team will decide how to show off their country! Will you build a hydraulic torch to open the games, invent a team chant, put on a dance or puppet show, or create a hydraulic shot put launcher for the challenges? From planning to creating to performing, campers will collaborate, imagine, and showcase what makes their country truly unforgettable.
On Friday, we will host our very own games. Judges will look for creativity in design, as well as skills in the physical challenges.
Get ready to design, build, and play! Using simple materials, campers will work in teams to create their own mini golf course components. They’ll decide the length and shape of their hole and add ramps, tunnels, traps, and obstacles to make it exciting. Will your hole twist and turn? Send the ball flying? Include moving parts or sneaky surprises to challenge your friends? Campers will test, adjust, and improve their designs as they go—just like real engineers!
On Friday, the excitement peaks as all the pieces come together to form one giant camp mini golf course. Groups will take turns playing every hole, trying out each other’s creations, and voting on which holes are the most fun, most creative, and most challenging. Get ready for laughs, teamwork, and plenty of hole-in-one celebrations!
During this week of camp, we’ll explore the amazing forces of lift, drag, thrust, and gravity and discover how they help things fly, zoom, and soar through the air! Campers will spend the week unlocking the secrets of flight as they build, test, and experiment with helicopters, gliders, helium balloons, paper airplanes, kites, and rockets. Get ready to launch, glide, and reach for the sky!
On Friday, we will see first hand how police drones use the same principles as aircraft and spacecraft.
Get Ready for an Amazing STEAM Week! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math—and this week is packed with awesome activities that let you explore, create, and experiment!
Have you ever wanted to make a paper-mâché volcano, try magic milk, grow your own crystals, or launch balloon rockets? This is your chance!
Science Fair Friday!
Be creative, be curious, and most of all—have fun being a scientist! Show off your creations at our Science Fair.
Hello folks! Step right up to Carnival Camp! This week our campers put their minds together to create their own carnival games and prizes. From Plinko to cardboard skee-ball, balloon animals, and fishing games, the campers are the creators of all of the fun.
On Friday, it all comes together for a fun, all-camp carnival, where campers can showcase their creations, play games, and win prizes.
Put on your city planning hats—this camp is all about imagination, invention, and collaboration! Campers will use a variety of supplies—from fabric and Perler beads to cardboard and 3D printers—to design and create their own storefronts, store names, and products. Work solo or team up with a friend to bring your ideas to life!
Campers can craft wares by hand or use tools like the ChompSaw to make their creations even more amazing.
On Friday, all the town’s parts come together in one big space, giving campers the chance to run their stores, explore the town, and see everyone’s creations in action.
