About the instructor:

As an exercise science major, Geena has a passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Geena is very excited to keep learning and bettering herself in the world of health and physical activity, starting with our youth fitness class. She looks forward to meeting you all!

Summer Camp Registration – Spots are going quickly!

Due to social distancing, our camps will only have 8-10 children per classroom. Many of our camps already have a waiting list. If you are interested, please be sure to register or join the waiting list soon!

Full day camps for kids 5-12 will feature a mixture of sports, STEAM discovery, activities in the gym, and outdoor time in the sunshine. Our half day preschool camps are full of reading, crafts, and early learning skills. Every week we’re also offering half day specialty camps including ceramics, soccer, ballet, and more. If you have any questions about camp, please contact Jason Fate at 412-828-8566.

Spring Programs Starting March 1

It’s already been a long winter, but we’re looking forward to bringing back some of our most popular programs starting March 1. Spots are limited due to social distancing, so don’t delay your registration. If you have any questions, please contact Jason Fate at 412-828-8566. Click here to see our programs and register.

Coach Needed for Girls on the Run Program

The Community Center will be a site for the upcoming season of Girls on the Run. This is an incredible program that inspires girls to build confidence and foster care for themselves and others. Coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional, and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life.

The program is still in need of an assistant coach to attend practices 1-2x a week for 8 weeks. Click here to learn more.

As you can see, we haven’t slowed down in the new near. We’re continuing to unite and inspire community and we’re excited to build upon that mission throughout the year. We can only do that with your help. If you’re able to support our Love the Center dinner to-go event this weekend, we would be so grateful. If that’s not something you can do right now, that’s okay too. Just staying engaged with what we’re doing by being a member and reading these emails is enough to show your support.
