Get ready for Halloween by learning all you need to know to make your own Halloween costume! Learn the basics of sewing, patterning, costume makeup, wig styling and more! Each class will start with a 15-20-minute demo taught by Finley, our local cosplayer and Youth Services Librarian. The rest of the time will be spent working on your costume.

We’ll provide many materials to use and work with, but will not be able to supply you with everything to create your costume. Please be prepared to bring in some of your own materials

There will be sewing machines available, hot glue guns, heat and bond along with an iron and ironing board, plus more to help you put your costume together. Not sure what to make? Don’t worry! Everyone will be given materials and instruction on how to make a witch’s hat from scratch! Make a space witch’s hat, or a mushroom witch’s hat, or even a cat-eared witch’s hat, it’s all up to you!
