In this module, we revisit classic fairy tales and use creative inventions to turn traditional “damsels in distress” into empowered women who use the wonders of science to rescue themselves. Why couldn’t Rapunzel invent a pulley to scale the tower versus waiting for a prince to rescue her? Or, could Cinderella have invented a wind powered coach instead of having hers turn back into a pumpkin?
