RAD Training
RAD Training
Presented by The Township of O’Hara Police Department
The RAD System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques for women only. It is a comprehensive course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance, while progressing to the basics of hands-on defense training.
RAD is dedicated to teaching women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, by utilizing easy, effective and proven self-defense/martial arts tactics. RAD is not a martial arts class.
This program is designed for the average woman with no previous experience or background in physical skills training. The system of realistic defense will provide a woman with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance.
Safety and survival in today’s world require a definite course of action. The RAD system provides effective options by teaching women to take an active role in their own self-defense and psychological well-being.
Class is broken up into two 4-hour long days with a hour lunch each day. Lunch is not provided. Bring water and a snack!
Any registrants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian in the class with them. Attendees are asked to wear comfortable clothing. No personal weapons are permitted.
Class is free first come first serve!
